BIOGRAPHY
During the course of my research, a lady now living in Australia contacted me and suggested that Leading Stoker Alexander McLean (No. P/KX 97625), who was killed in action aboard HMS Hood on 24 May 1941, was a brother of Corporal James McLean (No. 647093) and Sergeant William McLean (No. 1048611).
To date, no evidence has been found to substantiate this suggestion.
