BIOGRAPHY
In the Soldiers Died in the Great War 1914 – 1919 database it is recorded that Rifleman Hugh McGinn (No. 9766) lived in Belfast and enlisted in Newtownards.
Rifleman Hugh McGinn (No. 9766) served with the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles and he was killed in action on 24 March 1918 at Cugny during the German Spring Offensive which began on 21 March.
