BIOGRAPHY
Leslie John Harrison was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and he was a son of Gerrard and Eleanor Oliver Harrison.
The Harrison family lived in Ferry Hill, Durham before they moved to Bangor where they lived at 8 Osborne Drive and later at Kensington, 98 Princetown Road. It was there that Leslie John Harrison’s mother died on 27 July 1930.
Leslie John Harrison enlisted in Chatham Kent, served with the Royal Engineers and he was 23 when he died of wounds on 21 August 1916.
Sergeant Leslie John Harrison was buried in Chocques Military Cemetery, France.
